Return & Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of RonYin Pickups. However, because pickups are electronic components, we have specific guidelines to ensure fairness and maintain our high standards. We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns (Crucial for Pickups) To be eligible for a return, the pickup must be in brand-new, uninstalled condition. Specifically for pickups, this means:

• The wire leads must be uncut and at their original full length.

• There must be no solder marks on the wires or braided shields.

• The pickup covers, bobbins, and mounting hardware must be free of scratches, pick marks, or modifications.

• It must be returned in its original packaging with all included accessories.

Note: If a pickup is returned with cut leads or soldering marks, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a minimum 20% restocking fee, as the pickup can no longer be sold as new.

2. Starting a Return To start a return, contact us at ron@ronyinpickups.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Please note that all returns must be authorized first. Items sent back to us without requesting a return will not be accepted. Once authorized, we will provide you with the return shipping address [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS].

3. Return Shipping Costs

• Non-Defective Returns (e.g., "Changed my mind" or "Ordered the wrong size"): The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

• Defective or Incorrect Items: If the pickup is dead on arrival (DOA), has drastically incorrect DC resistance, or you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and cover the return shipping costs to make it right.

4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

• Custom-Wound Pickups: Any pickups built to your specific custom specs (special wire, unique DC resistance, custom cover aging/relicing) are final sale and cannot be returned.

• Sale items and gift cards are also non-refundable.

5. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason. The same condition requirements apply: the pickup must be completely uninstalled, uncut, unsoldered, and in original packaging.

6. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If the item meets our return conditions, your refund will be approved and automatically applied to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
